This chainsaw was working well but hadn't been used for some time, and would not start. I did quite a lot of work to fix it and now it is running but I can't get it to rev. It will start and tickover lovely but dies the second you touch the throttle. Through initial fault finding it seemed to have a weak spark so I have put a new coil on it. Also I changed the fuel and oil pipes, the spark plug, the fuel filter and fitted a carb kit. The net result is as described and it's obviously out of my skills or knowledge to repair. It is spotlessly clean as I cleaned every part as it was stripped and re-assembled. There is no chain on it, this was excessively worn the last time it was used so discarded. It pumps oil well and looks well, it is in very good condition, and I'm sure would make someone who knows how to fix it a good cheap little chainsaw.
