WOOD TYPES USED: This shelf was made of very complimentary woods: A rich grained walnut, red oak, and a dark cherry wood. The corners are made of hand cut dovetails.
The shelf gives you about 12 inches of book space. The width of the shelf is about 7 inches, and the rise of the tall support is 9 1/2 inches. It's a very very sturdy and well made book shelf. It's made very very well. Please look at the wood joinery.
