Vintage Unusual Statement Danish Gerda Lynggaard Moder Bakelite Black/Dark brown  Necklace. 

Condition is Very Good 

Been Used by very well looked after and treasured

Amazing black Bakelite choker, neckpiece. The chunky black tubular beads have been hand carved into shape as have the big, rounded beads and the long bead that hides the closing screw mechanism,all on 2 strings

The clasp works perfectly and closes tightly and the whole neckpiece

I have seen identical pieces attributed to her, all been purchased them years ago from official shop by our late relative

She always spoke that it cost arm and leg to purchase them in them years .

It is not signed,used to have paper tag when purchased,but that is long gone

Totally fabulous!

Inside length - 18 3/4 in (47.7 cm)
Largest tube bead - 2 x 13/16 in (5.1 x 2.1 cm)

Passes the hot water/smell and Simichrome tests for Bakelite
