1890'S ANTIQUE MEIJI PHOTOGRAPH ALBUM JAPAN - 24 TINTED ALBUMEN PRINTS COMPLETE

Circa 1890's a small antique photograph album of Japanese views.

Lacquered wood covers with handpainted gilt floral designs to both boards.  Bound in concertina style,  so the pages fold out to view.  Some tissue guards still present. The album is complete with 24 hand tinted albumen photographs,  each with a label pasted below in English and Japanese.

In above average condition for this type,  covers in good condition,  with some edge wear.  Some age marks to the mounts and prints,  fading to some,  pages slightly bowed.

Album 18.2cm x 12.2cm.  Photographs each 13.8cm x 9cm.  approx.
