I am reluctantly breaking up my vast collection of data sheets, brochures and catalogues on Live Sound and Public Address loudspeakers, systems, amplifiers and so on as I need the space; these all date from the 1980's and represent the best at the time in the areas of live sound, amusement parks, cinema and club sub bass speakers from SERVODRIVE, KINTEK, WHAREFEDALE'S FORCE, THE HACKNEY CAB COMPANY and ANIMATEC AUDIO. I have put in a data sheet for the Electro-Voice EVM-15L driver as well as it featured in some of my favourite sub- bass speakers, notably that amazing and rare Hackney Cab Concert Sub Bass enclosure, which used two of them in a push-pull configuration.

The Hackney Cab brochure and set of data sheets are super rare and so are the hexagonal, omnidirectional Animatec Audio PSS SUB club sub-bass speaker and accompanying PSS MH mid/top assembly brochures and the KINTEK cinema sub data sheets, all companies sadly gone, so I value these highly!

Tom Daley's ServoDrive horn speakers were installed in most of the big theme parks like Disneylands.

 

This can go as a 2nd class Large Letter as it only weighs 195 grams and I combine postage for those who have interest in bidding on similar items - see note below.

I have a great deal of mostly unread professional and Hi-Fi audio catalogues and magazines, text books, semiconductor and component data books, device data sheets and application notes, distributor's catalogues, short-form catalogues, brochures & flyers, test equipment maker's catalogues, operator's & service manuals and technical books, etc. to clear due to down-sizing so propose to offer them as sets where convenient as sending them individually is so costly due to their size and usually high weight. The shipping cost is thus higher than would be the case for a single book, but is far cheaper per book to reduce the cost for those who want several books.

As this is to be by size and weight, there may not be complete sets or all the same year, but as far as possible I will try and select sets from the same manufacturer and all bearing the same date.

If you are looking for any particular books or manufacturer, please message me and I will list them if I have them as, apart from the usual Mullard, International Rectifier, Motorola, RCA and so on semiconductor makers, I have a lot of very obscure ones from long gone USA manufacturers especially, such as Solidev and Powertech for example. If you add me to your favourites, you will get emails from ebay as I list items and so will not miss anything you are looking for that I have listed.

So each auction will be for a set of data books, usually from a single semiconductor or equipment manufacturer and offered as a bulk job lot, to comply with either the Royal Mail's Small Parcel 2Kg maximum or Medium Parcel 10Kg maximum weight, 2nd class Signed For category. (Or via a courier, given Royal Mail delays currently)

Please message me if you are intending to buy more books or catalogues, ignore ebay's hectoring you to pay for each one straight away, just wait until you have finished before asking me for an ebay invoice so that I can combine the shipping costs.

As I understand it, one has to use online purchasing now to do this, not their mobile app, which I am told forces one to buy each item immediately, so preventing combining purchases to save postage costs.

Home Delivery: This will be £3.60 by Royal Mail 2nd class Tracked Large Letter post to UK addresses, insured to £150.00.

The cost to The Republic of Ireland, France, Germany and most of the EU is £12.75 via Royal Mail International Tracked 48 Large Letter (printed papers limit 5Kg), insured to £50.00 FBV and much more to farther flung countries such as USA & Japan or  Australia, (for an estimate please supply your town & postal code).

I will only send this tracked and insured to the FBV - see more on this below; (if the FBV rises to over the shown insurance, an additional charge for the extra insurance at cost will be added to the ebay invoice)
