At auction is a wonderful Vintage or Antique Chinese plate. The plate measures 11 1/2 inches in diameter and is a vintage original with some character but no damage. There some dark spots on the plate surface but cannot be seen on the back side. The marks on the back are from firing clay stands. Please look at the pictures and close ups. On the design on the front of the plate some of the blue is not as sharp along the edge of the piece. The age of the plate is unknown, but it retains its original beauty and quality. The maker of the plate is also unknown but as I found the design on the back may lead to the maker. The estate I found the plate said the grandparents purchased it on a trip to the orient 60 or so years ago. This antique plate may be perfect for collectors of Asian antiques and is sure to be a conversation starter. The plate weighs about 2lbs. 3 ounces.
