I bought this several years back for a car I used to own so I could figure out what check engine code was being thrown. It worked flawlessly as soon as I hooked it up to the computer (via the attached cable). The code popped up on the display, and a quick google search of the code narrowed it down to a problem with the O2 valve.

It is a simple scanner, and uses the car battery to power itself, but it works and works nicely. It was also "clear the code" so the check engine light goes away. (Please note this may not pass a car through inspection.)

The codes will return after a few startups, until the problem is corrected.

A great tool, and saved me a diagnostic fee.

Does not come with any instructions or a guide (didn't come with one originally) but it's a simple plug and play.

Please email me with any questions!
