Vintage Viking of Minneapolis Model 88 Reel to Reel Player with Original Manual and Pair of Original Rubber Spindle Covers

Very cool little unit. Unfortunately it does not power on so this is a project for someone. It's very nice to have the original manual and the original Viking-branded rubber spindle covers.

On May-25-24 at 09:48:38 PDT, seller added the following information:

I added two additional photos to the listing showing the insides with the cover removed. I also added additional photos in my response to a question - these should show up at the bottom of the listing. The good news is that this unit does power on. When I replaced the cover I noticed that the power connection tab was bent out slightly and was not making a full connection. I moved it back to where it should be and replaced the cover and it now powers on. I could not get the reels to move with the front controls but just having power is a good thing. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
