This is a VINTAGE PHOTOCOPY of PROFESSOR JERRY BAILS groundbreaking fanzine, ALTER-EGO #1, one of the earliest and most famous fanzines in the modern age of comics fandom.
These are 23 8.5" x 11" PLAIN PAPER PHOTOCOPIES shot from a copy of the 'zine lent by JERRY BAILS to Paul Levitz and myself in 1971 when we were publishing our fanzine, ETCETERA/THE COMIC READER. The copies were made in 1971 but are still in good, readable condition.
