FROM THE COLLECTION OF DC and ARCHIE COMICS WRITER PAUL KUPPERBERG

This is a VINTAGE PHOTOCOPY of PROFESSOR JERRY BAILS groundbreaking fanzine THE COMICOLLECTOR #1, one of the earliest and most famous fanzines in the modern age of comics fandom. Dedicated to articles and features about comics, THE COMICOLLECTOR also carried ads about swaps and sales between comic collectors. This zine would eventually merge with G.B. Love's ROCKET'S BLAST and last for over 100 issues as THE ROCKET'S BLAST/COMIC COLLECTOR (RBCC).

These are 19 8.5" x 11" PLAIN PAPER PHOTOCOPIES shot from a copy of the 'zine lent by JERRY BAILS to Paul Levitz and myself in 1971 when we were publishing our fanzine, ETCETERA/THE COMIC READER. The copies were made in 1971 but are still in good, readable condition.
