Object: Imari plate from the late Edo period (1800-50), decorated in underglaze blue as well as overglaze enamels and gold.

Decoration: Two birds in a stylised garden.

Size: Diameter 15 cm (6").

Marks: "Fuku" in Japanese kanji characters (cursive script, underglaze blue).

State: One chip (see pictures).
