On April 3rd, 2009, Dan Cloutier and His Band recorded a new CD Live at the Masquerade Ball in front of a sold out audience at the Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham, MA. It was the best show Cloutier ever played, and the first time he ever sold out that room. The night was the culmination of a few incredible years in Cloutier's music. Since his last studio record, 2006's Bottles and Seeds, Cloutier has been the opening act for such legends as John Hiatt, Richie Havens, Ellis Paul, and John Gorka. He also played countless solo shows across all of New England, including some of the regions most prestigious venues: Club Passim, Tupelo Music Hall, and the above-mentioned Amazing Things Arts Center.
The Noise Magazine of Boston recently stated, "Cloutier proves his musical clout without flaunting it, leaving this audience in good spirits and satisfied." Insite Boston Magazine has also stated, "Cloutier puts his money where his mouth is. On and off stage one can be proud to be a fan of Dan."
We at Birch Beer Records are proud to have Dan as part of our label. With the release of Live at the Masquerade Ball, we know the next year holds great things for Cloutier's music. We hope you can be part of it. # | Title/Songwriter |
