Vintage copy of 'Daily Light' - a devotional text for every day of the year. Pub S Bagster & Sons, London. Actual publication date unknown, but the fly leaf is signed and dated 1.9.17, so it would have been pre-First World War, making it well over a hundred years old.
Condition: Used but carefully looked after. No torn or loose pages. Edges still gilded. Red leather jacket with gilded title and banded detail. Pages are somewhat yellowed with age and there is some foxing and an edge water stain on the first few pages, including the title page - see photo. Generally a lovely old book suitable for use or the collector.
