The Multi-pen cleaning pen is the most versatile accessory for quickly cleaning your coins and objects found while metal detecting. Made in France, it is extremely resistant because it is made of resin. It comes with 7 different interchangeable tips allowing you to restore your finds whatever their condition. The Multipen will be suitable for both beginners and experienced detectorists. It comes with a fiberglass tip for cleaning without damaging the patina, a brass and a fiberglass brush for roughing up, a "special" steel wool tip which lasts 3X longer than our competitors and allows you to clean without damaging your find, a carbon tip that is harder than the fiberglass tip, a brass tip for precise cleaning and a scalpel for the hardest concretions.

Try to use a circular motion while cleaning.

Do not apply too much pressure on the tip in order to avoid damaging the coin or artifacts.

Works well with immersion cleaning products like Mint State Restoration to speed up the cleaning process, with one exception.  The steel wool pencil insert will rust if it gets wet.  It should ALWAYS be used dry.

The harder the tip is, the better it will get rid of hard deposits and dirt.

The best tool to get rid of the crust is the scalpel; when you reach the surface of the object, use a softer/more accurate tool such as a hard tip or brush.

If you have to clean a coin with a patina, using the fiberglass brush will not damage the patina.
