A fine example of Shakespeare Beaulite fly fishing reel. Made by J.W Young & Sons Ltd (England) based on their 1500 series reels. 3⅝″ diameter. As with all the J.W Young built reels the quality is fantastic. Turns very freely, with an effective rim mounted drag adjuster. and a crisp ring to the check. Overall condition is very good, as seen in the pictures. Just some minor raising of the finish on the back plate.
