G&L is the last brand that Leo Fender launched after working for Fender and Music Man. It was named after the initials of his ally George Fullerton, with whom he has built various famous machines together.
The L-2000 is a popular all-purpose model that can be used for all genres of music and can create various sounds at hand. 4.02kg lightweight swamp ash is used for the body material, and the maple neck and rose fingerboard are used for the specifications.
The various controls include one volume, treble cut, bass cut, and a mini-switch with pickup selector, series/parallel switching, active treble boost, and active/passive switching, allowing for a wide range of sound creation once you get used to it.
The MFD pickups, the original pickups, have a high output with a wide range and a crisp tone.
Depending on how you build it, you can create a variety of sounds, from aggressive Stingray-like sounds to more mature prebe sounds.
There are some minor scratches and other signs of use, but nothing noticeable, and the overall condition is clean.
Neck: No warping or twisting.
Fretboard: No fret wear.
Truss rod: There is plenty of room.
