Vehicle Details

Up for sale is one nice 55 Chevy resto Mod with built 409 Engine, 400 turbo transmission and 9-inch rear end. (it runs strong) (So hang on) The engine is a 477 cu.in stroker 409 w/roller cam and rockers, MSD ignition w/ factory aluminum intake with dual carbs. Custom made headers are HPC coated, and it has full length 2 1/2" exhaust out the back. (sounds good too) The transmission is a built Turbo 400 with pan guards. The rear end is a 9' Ford with Posi traction, relocated rear springs and traction bars with looped driveline. The engine is kept cool with a big aluminum crossflow radiator with dual electric fans. The car has been lowered 2' all around and it was mini tubed in the rear for wide rear tires. Look in the trunk and see the beautiful body work to make it look stock on the mini tubs that are exposed to show off the work in the trunk aria and the tubs are painted to match. (Nice body work and nice touch) The car also has power Rack and pinion steering and Power 4-wheel disk brakes. Paint is PPG Base coat Clear coat in "Merlot" and "Shampagne" colors over very Stright and beautiful no rust ever body. All bright work, "chrome and stainless" is fresh and also looks great. (beautiful appearing car) The custom interior is gorges and is done in soft leather over stock seats with matching headliner, door panels and trunk aria. The dash matches the outside paint work and pulls everything together color wise. A Ididit tilt steering column was used in the build with factory looking 15" steering wheel also painted to match and it has a raingear electric wiper system in place. And yes! Vintage air to keep You Cool. The car has a fuel shut off on the back of frame and the battery is in the trunk. The car is running Coys wheels with 255/50ZR17" rears and 235/45ZR17" up front. (A nice-looking combination) I'm listing this beautiful 55 for a friend who's father built the car but has passed. It only has about 500 miles ever put on the car from finish. (the speedo reads 41 miles) It was just installed. Now the car is up for sale. Buyer is responsible for shipping and all shipping costs. We will help with loading on our end and in anyway we can. I will take all questions to the son who is a car builder himself. For your questions, please call Bill 208-750-0000.
