Aloha! Up for auction from the beautiful islands of Hawai’i… is this rare 1996 Rolex Gmt Master with Coke Bezel. This is a true collector piece, unpolished and purchased from original owner here in Hawaii. This watch has the perfect amount of patina/character and mojo that you could ask for in a vintage Rolex Sports watch. It needs a service as it is not running, it has a few other issues outlined below (crown tube, crystal and small dent on case side), but once brought to its original glory, this will be one hell of a watch. Untouched and unmolested examples like this one don't come up for auction very often, so don't miss out on your opportunity to own this piece!

Condition/Specs:

Case: 40mm without crown, stainless steel. Overall in good condition, appears to be unpolished with sharp edges. There is a moderate dent on the side of case that can be left as is and is only cosmetic. On the wrist you will barely notice the dent. However any watchmaker can easily laser the dent and make it look new. Also has its original casebook sticker intact. See all pics!

Dial: Black gloss dial, untouched and original. Has gorgeous light creamy tritium patina, seconds hand is missing all of its lume. Dial overall in excellent and honest condition. 

Crystal: Sapphire Crystal, has some very light chips on the edge of crystal, barely visible and can mostly only be felt with your fingernail on edge. See pics.

Bezel: Original Coke bezel, has gorgeous fade to the red color on bezel. has some aging and light rust spots that only add to the character of the watch. Bezel edges are nice and sharp and crispy and unpolished. bi-directional. see pics. 

Movement/Functions: Not running. the rotor spins freely as normal. When you shake the watch the balance goes for about 10-15 seconds and then stops. My best guess is it just needs a service. Winds good, date changes over a few minutes past midnight. Time sets normally with crown. The crown however only screw in half way down the threads of the crown tube. So it may need a new crown tube or crown, or cleaning of crown tube. Selling watch as is and not running. 

Strap: Comes on its original Rolex oyster steel bracelet. Appears unpolished, very light stretch, and has only one removable link. Will fit a max wrist size of about 7"+/- or so as is.
