A 1970s vintage men's tailored tweed jacket, apparently made for rather a famous individual...

There's a maker's label inside from Jones, Chalk & Dawson Ltd of Piccadilly, and the handwritten name Prince Rupert of Lowenstein WertheimThere's also a date, which looks like 9/74, and "Fol. 630" (I don't know what this means).

Prince Rupert of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg (usually called Prince Rupert Loewenstein in English) was a descendant of Bavarian aristocracy and royalty who lived in London for most of his life, working as a stockbroker and financial advisor. He is most famous as a manager of the Rolling Stones from 1968 onwards, and for his role in the Stones' financial decisions such as living outside the UK for tax purposes. See Prince Rupert Loewenstein's Wikipedia entry for further information.

The jacket is a classic green wool tweed with a 'window pane' pattern of squares in brown and blue. It has a silvery satin-like lining, probably viscose, and tortoiseshell style plastic buttons. Breast pocket, two outer pockets with flaps and two inside chest pockets (one with the maker's label inside).

It's in very good vintage condition and very wearable. There is some slight fading and staining on the right lapel, which you should be able to see in the photos. It isn't very noticeable and it may clear up with spot-cleaning or dry cleaning, but I can't guarantee this. There may be other light marks or signs of age and wear that I haven't noticed. The jacket is sold as is.

There's no size label, but I would estimate it to be about a 44" chest size. Please see measurements below and check against a similar garment.
