W & R Carlton Ware Temple Jar with Lid & Foo Dog Finial, in stunning antique displayed condition free from chips and cracks, the gilt decoration and painted highlights are in good order

This is baluster form, with the Chinoiserie Barge Pattern Number 2519 to the base

This design was from the date range 1916 to 1923, which covered design numbers 2001 to 2700

The W & R back stamp was used during  the period 1897 to 1927

This design typically has a blue ground with gilt and coloured details as pictured, depicting Pagodas, Causeway, Bridges. Figures, and Punt/Barge like Boats

This has a maximum height of 36 cms, with the open top diameter being 10 cms, the base is 14 cms diameter and the main body has an approx. maximum diameter of 21 cms
