Offered for sale is a copy of Edward Bellamy's Looking Backward in a remarkable Art Deco jacket--dating from 1926 and published by the HMCO. 

The jacket--despite some wear at the edges, a modest tear, and sunning to the spine--is in good condition. The sapphire ink on the cover is quite bright. The jacket is, very simply, a marvel, and it's scarcely showing its 98 years--my eyes went wide when I first pulled it from the shelf.

The volume is in very good condition, notwithstanding a slight crease to the front endpaper and the title page. There are a few stray pencilings on the rear endpaper, but the interior is free of annotations, underscores, &c.
