This is a HOME GROWN CANADIAN HOCKEY HEROES Lapel Pin of CHRIS PRONGER.  These pins were distributed by the Calgary Herald and the Saskatoon Star Phoenix,  and possibly other major News Papers in Canada.

  This pin is still in its original package.   It was removed from its resealable plastic bag only to take a proper picture.  The pin was left attached to the original paper insert when photo taken. 

These were issued in 2003-04 and the whole set contained 20 different Pins.  The pin itself measures approx. 1 3/8 inches by 7/8 of an inch.  Mint condition.
