Description: An interesting and attractive, original, antique, double-sided strip road map from the 1720 edition of John Owen & Emanuel Bowen's 'Britannia Depicta or Ogilby Improv'd'.
The sheet of hand-laid paper is printed on both sides. The copper-engraved strip maps (with accompanying information about the locations along the route and embellishments such as coats of arms) are pages 78 & 77 of 'Britannia Depicta'. They have significant detail of topography and place names, Settlements along the route include:
Page 78 - Andover, Amesbury, Warminster
Page 77 - part of a 'Description of London'

Condition: Very good condition. Light age toning. Please study the photographs carefully to fully appreciate the condition.
