“Daffodil Parade” (1940) 8mm Film Home Movie, Tacoma, WA, Floats, Fish Boat, VS1


This short film offers some good footage of the traditional daffodil parade that has taken place in Tacoma Washington since 1926 and continues to this day. Viewers also get glimpses into family life with kids playing crochet and getting a ride on a fishing boat.


FILM CONDITION:

The film appears to be in good condition and ran smoothly. Some curl and streaking.


VINEGAR SYNDROME:

A-D strip indicates the film is VS1. Film is currently in cold storage to prevent degradation.
