Up for auction is a CROSMAN 2175 CLASSIC WALNUT. It's also called the 2100W. It's really up to you what you call it because there is no model number anywhere on the rifle.

It's the .177 caliber #2100 with a walnut stock and forend made only in 1998,the company's 75th anniversary.

This rifle is in fantastic condition with no scratches across the beautiful wood or the richly painted jet black receiver. Scope grooves are perfect,as are the front and rear sights.Every screw is perfect also.Antique brass medallion is especially handsome.

The gun functions perfectly..strong spring pulling the bolt handle back... closes tight...pumping handle swings firmly and stays snug under the rifle after compression,no sloppy rattling.
Holds the charge....nice firm trigger...strong report..the blast of air.

The only flaw on the rifle is very light freckling on the barrel. Tiny rust discoloration specs. You can't feel any roughness wiping the barrel with oiled rag but it is visible in sunlight. The gun would be mint except for that. Excellent is how I would still grade the gun.

I have sold many 2100s but this is the first wood stocked one I've ever had. This gun feels nothing like it's plastic stocked brother. The thickness of the wood almost make the receiver seem small. The extra weight and oversized stock and forearm give it the heft, feel and look of a firearm.
