Offering for sale and very well maybe one of a kind ,is an exceptional Barbini for Cenedese 1950s Italian Venetian Murano art glass aquarium Bowl in the most exceptional electric sapphire blue color, it almost glows ,loaded with gold foil inclusions with a highly executed happy 3-D fish . Being a collector for many years this is the best and most beautifully executed bowl I have ever seen. This is the only one I have seen. It has everything going for it the color, an extreme amount of gold that shimmers under light and the fish that is so well it jumps out at you with a smile .Pictures do not do it justice .
This originally was purchased at Christie's Auction in Boston in the 1980s, it is in wonderful condition with minor base wear and that's it !
