A rare and extremely attractive nautical map of the WEST COAST of UNITED STATES, issued in 1868, by the British Admiralty.

This chart shows details of the coastline from Pt. PINOS to BODEGA HEAD.

Features both nautical and inland detail noting both topographical features and thousands of depth soundings (in fathoms). Important ports, Island and navigational points are carefully noted.

Originally published by the British Admiralty in 1868.

This 1935 edition,

has printed corrections to 1964.

Note - The orange/red markings on the chart indicate the location of navigational aids, such as lighthouses, beacons, markers, Etc. They have been updated, added / altered on a chart by means of Small Corrections.
