This iconic 'Cascata' chandelier by Mazzega was designed by Carlo Nason. The chandelier is formed with 15 heavy glass slabs of varying lengths, each of which is shaped into a hook at the top end. The slabs are then hung onto the circular frame in random order so that when all in place the different lengths of glass create an undulating organic finished shape around the base as can be seen from the photos. Also, when lit, the mottled semi-opaque glass pieces throw fabulous light patterns onto the surrounding walls which again can be seen in some of the photos.
The refurbished frame is of high quality, is fully rewired and carries a PAT test until April 2025. However, as with all electrical items, it should be tested and installed by a qualified electrician.
This beautiful light will enhance any decor and give a special look to any room. The total drop is 115cm although this could be reduced by shortening the chain, and the diameter is 25cm. Total weight is around 12kg
The chandelier comes with one spare glass slab making 16 slabs in total.
