This fishing rod is in good shape, the rod itself looks durable and is a stunning deep color. The handle has been 'well-loved' and used often. This rod should perform beautifully for its purpose. The rod has average wear on it as it is vintage and used and should be expected to be in such condition (such as scratch marks and wear on the handle portions). It is quite dusty so perhaps a good polish before gifting to your favorite guy - see photos for a more accurate description. It is in as found estate sale condition and I'll leave any light dusting and cleaning up to the new owner as we do not want to risk damaging the item.
