Up for auction is this wonderful mid century modern sterling silver flatware.  This serving set was manufactured by Dansk of Denmark and comes in the 'Tjorn' pattern designed by Jens Harald Quistgaard (1919-2008).  It dates from 1959 and comes with 3 pieces.  Very modern and sleek in design.  Looking at the condition I don't believe the set has ever been used.  It has been kept stored in its original felt flatware pouches and needed very little cleaning.  The 3 pieces consist of; Large serving spoon (7-5/8" long x 3-1/4" wide), Small serving spoon / ladle (6-5/8" long x 2-1/4" wide) and a serving / meat fork (7-5/8" long x 1-1/8" wide).
