Following the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass, the electric bass equipped with the active circuit developed by Leo Fender is known as “Stingray” and is supported by many players as one of the three most popular basses of our time.
From its birth in 1976 to the current StingRay Special model, which has undergone a series of detailed updates, it has long been known as a coveted instrument for bass players.
The StingRay Special is the last model before the StingRay Special, with a 6-point stopper, compensated nut, 3-band EQ, and battery box.
It has an ash body, maple neck, 21-fret maple fingerboard, and one large polepiece pickup with an Alnico magnet mounted near the bridge, and a 9V 3-band active equalizer for a wide range of sound creation. It is a used instrument made in 2005.
The truss rod is in good working order and the frets are in good condition.
