This beautiful Pair of 19th century Sioux Moccasins each measure approx. 10" long at their stiff, parfleche hide soles. The decoration is exceptionally beautiful with stylized tepees on the vamps and around the junction of the uppers with the soles. The beadwork on the uppers is executed in colors of red, various blues, pumpkin and pea green on a chalk white ground. The Moccasins are sinew sewn and feature applied cuffs and tongues. The soles of both Moccasins are original and exhibit some wear from honest use.
