Offered for sale is a copy of Stanislavski's classic study, Creating a Role--in its first English-language edition, the first printing, of 1961.
The jacket (secure in mylar) is in good condition--notwithstanding a tear and an unhappy fold affecting its front, as well as some loss and wear at the extremities; the original price ($4.00) endures on the front flap. The volume is in very good condition, apparently unread; but for the remnants of a few penciled marking and an ownership inscription to the F.E.P., the interior is free of annotations, underscores, &c. There is a small stain visible at the bottom of the text-block.
