Not too long ago, my mother passed away, with dementia being the primary factor. I am finally in a place to start dealing more with all the items remaining in her estate. For years while she was alive, I couldn't bring myself to do it. She was a consummate environmentalist and hated the thought of our landfills being filled or our oceans polluted. That is why formany things I have decided to sell instead of donate. That way I know for sure they find their place in the home of someone that wants it, not in a landfill.  With her items, I am now going to donate 20% of each sale to organizations that research for the cure and support caregivers of dementia patients. Each listing may support a different organization.
