Vintage Made in Italy Solid Brass Balance Scale Of Justice with 4.5” White Marble Base Bald Eagle Topper 16” Height 16” Width 4.5” Base Apothecary Scale. This vintage, brass scale of Justice is preowned and in very good condition. The patina does show age spots on the brass scale trays. It could be cleaned with a brass cleaning agent, but with vintage pieces, I know some collectors prefer the patinaed look. But if you’d like, I’d be happy to polish it for you before I ship it out (just send me a message). I believe it would shine like a new dime. The marble is in excellent condition: I don’t see any scratches, scuffs, or dings. The wood that attaches the scale to the base is in excellent condition. Again, I don’t see any imperfections. This piece has been well taken care of. I will have to dissemble the scale to ship it.
