This is a really early, historic document from Techron on the *7780 version of their 7700 5Kw industrial audio power amplifier, itself based upon the Crown Macrotech 10,000 Stadium PA Amplifier, (*as used by Picker International in their early MRI Brain Scanner machines and known by them as 8521A.R Master and 8520A.R Slave amplifiers).
It's revision 0, an early preliminary release of the 7700 manual and the 7780 version differences that was provided on single sided photocopies by Techron when I was working on an NMR application. It includes the operational set-up, theory of operation and applications information as well as the service data and schematics.
Techron was the industrial division of Crown, (Amcron in Europe), and was basically a set-aside small area of their big Indiana factory that made optimised industrial application versions of the standard Crown power amplifiers being made in the rest of that factory, usually with a different colour paint finish and sometimes metalwork; they usually had output and drive transistors that were all tested and selected and gain matched more closely than the standard ones for reliability as well as other changes.
The 7700 series uses 80 x 150w power transistors and another 8 x 150w drive transistors mounted in removable heatsink "wells", making servicing really easy, is based upon Crown's "floating bridge" output circuit principle and can be run in series or parallel with other similar amplifiers and even in combination (series/parallel arrays of four or more amplifiers).

This is a historic and original early manual comprised of single-sided photocopies in usable condition with no writing inside, no missing or torn pages, and includes the schematics. The Techron spring clamp file mechanism has been subject to damp and has rust and so stained a few pages. From a pet free, non-smoking environment.

I have a great deal of mostly unread semiconductor and component data books, device data sheets and application notes, distributor's catalogues, short-form catalogues, brochures & flyers, test equipment maker's, operator's & service manuals and technical books to clear due to down-sizing so propose to offer them as sets where convenient as sending them individually is so costly due to their size and usually high weight. The shipping cost is thus higher than would be the case for a single book, but is far cheaper per book to reduce the cost for those who want several books.
As this is to be by size and weight, there may not be complete sets or all the same year, but as far as possible I will try and select sets from the same manufacturer and all bearing the same date.
If you are looking for any particular books or manufacturer, please message me and I will list them if I have them as, apart from the usual Mullard, International Rectifier, Motorola, RCA and so on semiconductor makers, I have a lot of very obscure ones from long gone USA manufacturers especially, such as Solidev and Powertech for example. If you add me to your favourites, you will get emails from ebay as I list items and so will not miss anything you are looking for that I have listed.

So each auction will be for a set of data books, usually from a single semiconductor manufacturer and offered as a bulk job lot, to comply with either the Royal Mail's Small Parcel 2Kg maximum or Medium Parcel 10Kg maximum weight, 2nd class Signed For category. (Or via a courier, given Royal Mail delays currently)

Please message me if you are intending to buy more books, ignore ebay's hectoring you to pay for each one straight away, just wait until you have finished before asking me for an ebay invoice so that I can combine the shipping costs.
As I understand it, one has to use online purchasing now to do this, not their mobile app, which I am told forces one to buy each item immediately, so preventing combining purchases to save postage costs.

Winner's notice; please wait for me to raise your ebay invoice before paying as the prices below are estimates and may be higher if prices change since the listing was prepared or the final bid value (FBV) goes above the insured value shown and will also be higher if your confirmed address is outside of UK post codes.
If outside the UK, or intending to buy more books, please wait for me to pack and weigh the total of the books purchased so as to get an accurate shipping cost to your destination country for your ebay invoice, before paying.
Failure to observe this will cause delays because I may have to request additional funds to cover any extra shipping costs as I only charge what it costs me and add nothing for materials and time, etc. unless specifically noted below.

Collection in person is OK f
