“Greater Pittsburgh Airport” (1952) 8mm Film Home Movie, Niagara, Fam, FL +, VS1


Film captures several 1952 trips by this family including Niagara Falls after which they witnessed planes coming in at the newly opened Greater Pittsburgh Airport which later became the international airport we know today. Lots of family footage and visiting friends.


FILM CONDITION:

The film appears to be in acceptable condition and ran smoothly. Some beginning curl, but projected images appear stable.


VINEGAR SYNDROME:

A-D strip indicates the film is VS1. Film is currently in cold storage to prevent further degradation.
