Unusual, possibly experimental OOAK glaze on this Glidden 63 spherical ball vase in the most unusual blue speckled cedar green chartreuse gloss glaze with yellow corn meal consistency interior. The vase measures 5"H, has a 2¼" top opening and measures 2⅝" across the dry bottom. In overall excellent condition, with no damage. Difficult to accurately photograph due to the highly reflective nature of the glaze, the chartreuse coloration is concentrated within several sections of the vase's most bulbous diameter. This color scheme is not referenced in the 2001 Margaret Carney catalogue reference on Glidden pottery shown between April 12 - September 27, 2001 at the New York State College of Ceramics in the Schein-Joseph International Museum of Ceramic Art, Alfred, NY. Possibly a one-of-a-kind glaze treatment. The dry bottom was sanded for the vase to sit level. Buyer pays either USPS ground advantage or priority mail s/h/i, with free tracking, on this 3lb. pkg. Due to across the board increases, a $2. handling fee has been added to this purchase. Re: all regular 10 day auctions, although you may request a payment total through eBay channels, PLEASE WAIT UNTIL I SEND YOU AN INVOICE STATING ALL CHARGES BEFORE PAYING. For Buy-It-Now auctions, please follow thru with immediate payment. Otherwise, with regular auctions, payment is expected within 3 days.
