This beautiful tea set from the Star China Co, designed by H J Aynsley, is a true treasure, with marks indicating it was made between 1897 and 1900. Made of delicate bone china, this set includes a tea cup, saucer, and dessert plate. This is a very rare item and is in excellent condition, NO chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs. There are some colored marks on the bottom of the pieces that appear to be original from when originally created. Unique scalloped edges on all three pieces are highlighted in gold and deep blue. Hand painted pink flowers with gold guilt leaves and deep blue accents. The teacup has a height of 2 1/4"(5.5cm) a diameter of 3 1/4"(8.2cm), the saucer has a diameter of 5 1/2"(14cm), and the dessert plate has a diameter of 7 1/2"(19cm).
