This a Santa Fe 40 foot boxcars with roof walk completely manufactured by Micro-Trains. Only 150 of each car were produced. This car is number 13 of the Joint Line Series and NSC special run numbers 03-02.

In 1918 the USRA combined the tracks between Denver and Pueblo to form the Joint Line.  "Sedalia" is the fourth in a series honoring the trains and stations of the Joint Line.  Sedalia, located at the confluence of East and West Plum Creeks was once called Plum.  It was renamed Sedalia after the hometown of the first postmaster.

The car is a Santa Fe Bx-43 40 foot boxcar manufactured in June of 1944 by GATC.  The car carries the "Ship and Travel" SANTA FE "All the Way" slogan to the right of the door and a large circle cross to the left.  There are black and white circle cross reflectors along the sill.  The car has prototypical end printing.  The car was shopped at Topeka in June of 1961 designated by the TS 6.61 marking.

This car was released in 2003 and has reached a high auction value of $25.00
