This awesome and magnificent Eric Clutton's F.R.E.D. Experimental Airplane Wood Model is finely hand-carved from kiln-dried Philippine Mahogany and skillfully hand-painted in detail by gifted artisans.

This is 7.82" in  Length, with 11" Wingspan, weighing 0.45 pounds, and a package weight of about 2.2 pounds. Fresh from the factory, NOT Mass-Produced, Individually Handcrafted & Hand-painted (NO DECALS!) and No Reserve!

Brief info: 

FRED is a plans built parasol airplane (tail dragger as you can see) designed by Eric Clutton. The name FRED stands for: Flying Runabout Experimental Design, so now you have it!

FRED uses wood, steel fittings and fabric for materials. Eric Clutton still flies the original FRED almost daily (weather permitting) and it is 34 years old now and has over 2000 hours on it. The original FRED started it's life with a 1500 cc VW engine, then Eric put a 50 hp Franklin on and now flies with a 65 Continental engine.
