In 2005, Another year of domination for Carmichael... Won the AMA 250cc Supercross title with seven wins and podium finishes at every other round... Won the overall victory at every round of the AMA 250cc Motocross Championship... Member of championship-winning U.S. Motocross of Nations team... Won the U.S. Open of Supercross... Raced with Makita Suzuki team... Named 2005 AMA Pro Athlete of the Year.

In 2004, Carmichael missed the AMA 250cc Supercross season to recuperate from injury, but came back to win every moto of the AMA 250cc Motocross Championship, the second perfect season of his career... Won the AMA Athlete of the Year Award for a third time... Raced with American Honda.


In 2003, Carmichael continued his reign of dominance, winning the AMA 250cc Supercross Championship for the third consecutive time with seven wins and eight additional podium finishes in the 16-round series... In the AMA 250cc U.S. Motocross Championship, Carmichael took overall victories at all but two season races on the way to earning his seventh consecutive AMA National Motocross Championship title... Raced with American Honda.


In 2002, Carmichael wrote a new chapter in the 250cc AMA U.S. Motocross record book, adding the first perfect season in AMA Motocross history... He earned 24 straight moto victories for 12 overall wins, and was awarded with his sixth consecutive AMA National motocross championship title... Carmichael also dominated the AMA U.S. Supercross Championship, winning that title for the second year in a row, with 11 victories in the 16 round series... Raced with American Honda.


In 2001, Another stellar season for Carmichael... He won the AMA 250cc Supercross Championship with 14 victories in the 16-race series, and took podium finishes at the remaining two series races...He captured the AMA 250cc motocross championship, taking the overall win at seven rounds of the 12-race series, and two additional overall podium finishes... Raced with Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki.


In 2000, Carmichael took his first AMA EA Sports 250cc Supercross win at Daytona, and had an additional five series podium finishes... He dominated the AMA Chevy Trucks 250cc U.S. Motocross Championship, taking nine overall victories and won the series title... Member of Team Chevy Trucks USA, which returned the FIM Motocross des Nations trophy to the US after a three-year absence... Raced with team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki.


In 1999, An early season injury put a damper on Carmichael's first year in AMA 250cc Supercross. His best series finishes were fourth-place at Tampa and Daytona Beach, Fla. Returning to his trusty 125cc machine for the AMA Motocross Nationals, Carmichael took his third consecutive series championship with nine overall wins and two additional overall
podium finishes... Member of U.S. Motocross des Nations team... Raced with Pro Circuit Kawasaki team.


In 1998, Carmichael continued his winning ways in 1998, capturing the 125cc Eastern Region Supercross championship by winning every round of the series, the first rider in history to do so. Carmichael went on to lock up the 125cc Mazda Truck Motocross Nationals championship with one round remaining on the
schedule... took eight overall motocross wins and an additional podium finish...rode for Pro Circuit Kawasaki.


In 1997, Carmichael blazed into his first professional 125cc Supercross season,
taking Eastern Region wins at Atlanta, Orlando, Fla. and Charlotte, N.C....Had a stellar year in the 125cc National Motocross series, winning the championship with eight overall wins and three podium finishes... Rode for Team Splitfire/Pro Circuit.


In 1996, A record-setting rider in AMA Amateur Motocross, Carmichael rode in his first pro race in the final 125cc Motocross event of the year at Delmont, Pa., and finished eighth... Earned AMA Motocross Rookie of the Year Award.
