This is an Historic Antique Replica of the Colonial Early American Cast Iron Woodburning Fireplace Insert. There are two Models: and Model I is 35,000 BTU/Hr that will heat up to 1500 Sq. Ft., 1.7 cu.ft., 18 inch LOGS; and Model II is 41,000 BTU/Hr ($400 more) that will heat up to 1500-2000 Sq.Ft., 2.25 cu.ft., 18 inch LOGS. Both have the room air fan 250 CFM included. It has a Large viewing area through an arched cast iron door. Note that the door can be ordered with a Web Bar window $200 more. An effective air wash keeps the viewing glass clean. The WHISPER QUIET heat circulating blower will circulate air at 250 CFM. The cool air is drawn in and circulated around the firebox, heated, and returned back to the room. It has a 6 inch flue stub for flue exhaust attachments. A secondary air tube with ceramic fibre and a protected stainless steel cover ensures complete combustion. A single lever will regulate the primary and secondary air and establish a perfect mixture for a clean burn. A fully refractory lined brick surrounds the firebox. It is non-catalytic high tech design which eliminates the need for a delicate ceramic catalytic combustor which can deteriorate over time. It has a shallow ash pan as standard at the very bottom. Price includes either a Gold 24K Door (no bar window). Add $100 for a Bar-window Door. Subtract $150 for a Matte Black door. Customer may pick this item up in person or have it shipped by a commercial freight carrier to the Regional Freight Terminal of the nearest large city. You can also have it shipped to a local fork-lift loading-dock business inside the city limits located in the same or nearby city. Weight including stove packed in a carton strapped to a pallet is 500 lbs. Check it for DAMAGES before you sign for it and load it into your pickup truck.
MODEL I is 35,000 BTU/Hr, heats up up to 1500 Sq.Ft., MODEL II is 41,000 BTU/Hr, heats up to 1,500-2,000 Sq.Ft. Door comes either plain window glass or bar-window (webbed) glass. Doors can also be Flat Black, Gold 24K, or Satin Chrome, with the handles matching the color of the door. The Satin Chrome matches a look which is equivalent to "brushed nickel". The surrounds can be either Plain in Standard Flashing or Cast Iron. Colors for the Cast Iron Surrounds are: Flat Black, Porcelain Enamel Black, Porcelain Enamel Majolica Brown, Porcelain Enamel Majolica Green. Note: even though the Surrounds may be in color, the fireplace insert will always be painted flat black and cannot be ordered in colors. Customer may pick this item up in person or have it shipped by a
commercial freight carrier 450-500 lbs to the nearest large-city Regional
Terminal serving the customer's geographic area and the Customer will
pickup the item at this Regional Terminal. Customer may also have it
shipped to a local business inside the city limits of the same or
near-by city that has a loading dock and/or a skid loader. Just drive
over there and they will load it into your truck with a fork-lift.
Check it for DAMAGES before you sign and load it into your truck;
otherwise your claim will be denied. Note Damage on signature slip.
RETURNS and SELLER PROTECTION
Seller will allow return items if done within 14 days after purchase and returns must be paid by the buyer for both shipping and insurance. Item must not have been opened, used, or in a condition other than the one we sent to the buyer. ... If an exception is granted, the item must be repackaged and insured by the buyer so the shipping agent will not damage the product upon return. Accordingly the parties (seller and buyer) consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the federal and state courts located in Linn County, Iowa, in any action arising out of or relating to this sales agreement. The parties waive any other venue to which either party might be entitled by domicile or otherwise. Seller will be reimbursed by the Buyer for any legal fees, attorney's fees, and court costs incurred by the Seller to enforce this contract.

Minimum fireplace opening is Model I: 28-1/2" W x 21-1/4" H x 16-1/2" D; Model II: 26" W x 22" H x 14" D. Size of Fireplace Insert: Model I: 30-1/4 Inches Wide, 21-1/2 inches High, 24 Inches Deep counting front door, and the rear depth is adjustable from 17-3/4" to 21-3/4". Model II is 40-1/2 inches Wide, 21-7/8 inches High, 22-7/8 inches Deep. The Plain Sheet-Metal Flashing Surround for both Models is is 32" H x 44-1/2" W. Hole Opening in Wall should be: 28-1/2 inches Wide, 21-1/2 inches High, 16-1/2 inches Deep. The Cast Iron Suround is 42-1/4 inches Wide X 28-1/2 inches High (and the Arch Top is 31 inches High). There is a 6 inches flue stack stub located top rear that points upward. Fire Box Chamber for Model I (One) is: 18 X 12 X 13-1/2 inches and will hold Model I for 1.7 cubic feet, Model II (Two) will hold 2.25 cubic feet. Maximum log length is 18 inches.
