Notes:  IN FRENCH, NUMEROUS ILLUSTRATIONS, MOSTLY REPRODUCTIONS OF ART WORK SHOWING LIFE IN CENTURIES PAST, I THINK IT STARTS WITH THE 14TH CENTURY BUT MY FRENCH ISN'T THAT GOOD, GOOD EXPLANATORY INFORMATION (I THINK) ABOUT THE PERIODS COVERED BY THE ART.
