They can be used as a frame or armature for heads or easter eggs using Air Drying Clay,  Paper, Papier Mache, Play Doh, Plasticine, Polymer Clay, etc.  and for 3D animations.  They have endless craft uses.  When using with polymer clay at 130 deg C. the eggs will shrink by about 50%.
