The MaxPack increases torque capacity and heat dissipation of the 3-4 clutch pack by increasing the number of friction surfaces without sacrificing steel plate thickness, clutch pack clearance, or requiring specialty snap rings.  By installing the MaxPack with the Borg-Warner high energy Carbon friction plates, the 3-4 clutch pack not only offers increased holding capacity under high loads, but also adds increased temperature stability to an area known for heat fatigue.  This kit can be used for both heavy duty and high performance applications, utilizing the Borg-Warner High Energy material performance friction plates.

  1. (8) BORG-WARNER CARBON High Energy friction clutch plates at 0.062" thick.
  2. (7) Raybestos or ALTO high quality steel plates at 0.078" thick.
  3. (1) Raybestos or ALTO high quality steel apply plate at 0.125" thick
  4. INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT INCLUDED!!!!!!!! 

PLEASE NOTE: TRANSMISSION REMOVAL, DIS-ASSEMBLY AND RE-ASSEMBLY IS REQUIRED TO INSTALL THIS ITEM.
