NO RESERVE. 1/72 British Bedford QLT Troop Carrier, Normandy, June 1944.

Note that the model's nationality is not indicated, but its markings are all typically British - and for the D-Day Invasion of Normandy the white star was not exclusive to US Army vehicles but was used to identify all Allied vehicles involved in the operation.

Model is from a new brand of lower-priced 1/72 Scale military pieces. Detail is quite decent but the base color of each individual model is that of the resin/plastic from which it was made and not from a painted finish. Paint is used for portions of camouflage schemes or small details. A good piece for wargaming. Resin or plastic model - not certain about the material.

The model and its black plastic base come inside a vacuum-formed plastic cover attached to a cardboard base card - with a colored picture of the actual vehicle shown on a card inserted behind the model. Part No. is listed on a sticker on the underside of the cardboard card.

In order to take our pictures we cut the sides and top of the plastic lid free from the cardboard base to lift out the model and then remove its dust cover. Once we finished with the model, we placed it back inside the plastic lid, repositioned the cardboard backing, and then secured each of the upper corners of the plastic lid to the cardboard backing with paper clips.

FOR ANYONE NOT FAMILIAR WITH HOW TO INTERPRET A MODEL'S SCALE, THE MODEL IS 3 1/2 INCHES LONG. THIS IS EQUIVALENT TO DIVIDING THE LENGTH OF THE REAL VEHICLE IN INCHES BY 72.
