This DVD contains a series of lessons from a guitarist and teacher with 30 years experience performing and teaching classic rock.  Not a typical commercial format that rushes thru 100 random licks, this DVD uses a simple easy to follow method whose goal is to cover each song completely.  Designed just like a live 1-on-1 guitar lesson taught in an Audio-Visual format - No Tab or written material.  Learn just as you do in a private lesson: thru demonstrations, examples, and detailed explanation with alternative fingerings and close-ups of the neck fingerings and relevent right hand parts and techniques.

This DVD series includes lessons that are designed to benefit a wide ranges of ages and abilities.  Good basic guitar abilities are a prerequisite of this series and it is geared toward a range of intermediate players.  By watching and playing along with guitar in hand, the student is also training his ear with the ultimate goal of being able to pick out songs on their own.  (The focus is on closeups of the fingering hand, with closeups of picking hand shots included when deemed necessary - most basic strumming is understood at this level.)

For early to later intermediate players: This DVD is geared toward the student with existing ability to play guitar.  Must know all basic guitar chords and ability to play rhythms, some single note lines or lead ability needed to understand and learn the lead material.  Song difficulty on this DVD is rated at 2 stars out of 5 (based on intermediate level players).  Different ways to play songs are shown when appropriate so the student can advance and play the more difficult parts as they progress at their own rate.
