This is a great and I would think quite rare signed Lucite Sculpture of a Polar Bear and Cub which dates, I would guess, to the 1950's - 60's (I think this is an early example of this type of sculpture). It is depicted with the two bears formed by hollows in the Lucite (interesting technique) and the Artic landscape created by the textured surface and bubble inclusions in the block, while it is hand signed  'Agustin' to the lower right hand face corner.

Excellent condition with no defect at all to report apart from the slightest, lightest wear consumate with its age
