• It's BLACK because it has rubber compounds added to the formula.
• THICK 4000cps viscosity - thicker than regular (clear) thick CA glue.   (I also offer 1500cps medium black CA, see my other listings)
• Rubber Toughened CA is up to 4 times as strong as regular CA and it dries slightly flexible, so it is particularly ideal for high-stress and high-vibration applications.
• Shock and Impact resistant, resists cracking
• Humidity resistant, heat and thermal shock resistant
• Excellent for gluing bulkheads and other items to fiberglass model airplane fuselages and fiberglass model boat hulls.
• Excellent for attaching rubber tires to wheels on RC cars.
• Excellent for working with composite materials (carbon fiber, fiberglass, epoxy) - may require CA activator
• Popular with speaker manufacturers (and repair)

It dries relatively slowly and will reach it's full strength (full cure) in 24 hours. The small bottle is handy, but its meant to be used relatively quickly - because rubber-toughened CA is not meant for long-term storage. (I also offer in larger bottles, please see my other listings)

All of the CA-Plus Adhesives CA glues are manufactured using a "triple-distilled" process for the highest possible quality, and are "mil-spec" - originally offered for industrial use, these products are now available for the hobby market.
